So an interloper cat is walking the fence between our yard and the neighbor's. Orange, our big Tom (who generally would rather eat than fight)climbs up on a rock and puts his paws on the fence in front of the interloper. And looks meaningfully. Shadow, our smaller, but feistier, Tom, stands behind Orange and also looks meaningfully. The interloper backs away, vewwwy vewwwy sloowly. And some people call them dumb animals!
hahahahaha, quitting while your behind that is, grin
LOL, I really miss being able to see things like that. I'd love to see the expression on my cat's face when he stretches and falls off the piece of furniture he was sleeping on. That's just one example, but pets are so amusing and can provide even more entertainment if you can actually see what they are doing.
On the other hand, or ear, our four cats all sound different.
Orange has a purr that you can hear in the next room, when he's eating, that is. Shadow has a merow that absolutely must be some kind of question. But he's a very curious cat.
The two ladies both complain a lot. Silver is old and arthritic. She gripes about her bones, especially when climbing the stairs. Tabatha is our Lucy van Cat. You can hear her complaining about things in general anywhere in the house. Nothing is sufficient!
I only have one cat, but he does have a series of meows. One is definitely a question. I can almost see a question mark go on over his head when he makes this sound.
the only meow I heard from the cat we used to have was the one tellling us he was cranky and wanted to be left alone.
Van? You have a turkish van cat? They're wonderful animals. I have two siamese who have so many different mews and rooows and meows, purs and trills and chitters that they have a whole new primitive language going. I love that my sighted friends, family and boyfriend never hesitate to give me a play-by-play when any of my animals is being silly.
